PROPOSITION FOR THE GALLERY'S

We would like to introduce ourselves. We are art group 'Absinth Reality' based out of Kiev, Ukraine.

'Absinth Reality' represents modern abstract movement in painting and photo-art. Group consists of Vadim Shamanov, a painter, and Alexander Shimbarovsky, a photoartist.

'Absinth Reality' was formed in February of 2009 when Vadim Shamanov, an accomplished solo artist met Alexander Shimbarovsky, an experimental photography and a graphic artist best known for his architectural work. Sitting over a glass of absinthe and lots of small experimental art projects, Vadim and Alexander came to a realization that despite the fact that they work in different art mediums, they share the same skewed view of this universe. They had no choice but to organize and join forces in order bring their vision to the masses.

The name "Absinth Reality" is an allegory of our approach to art. Our art is infused by abstract schemes of hyperrealism and surrealism. Lots of everyday objects are amplified and are seen in a completely different light. As if an alien being had come down to earth and had seen them for the first time. We tried to convey our vision of this world as if it were influenced by consumption of absinth. Reality can be different for everyone. We would like to present our version of it.

We present to you our self-titled project: ‘Absinth Reality’. The project includes combination of several abstract oil paintings and photo-paintings. It is our first project as an art group and it is designed to be our introduction to the art world.

We would like to form relationships with art galleries in order to collaborate in bringing our art to the people. Our goal is to exhibit our current and future projects, as well as to participate in group exhibits and other different art projects. In addition to our artwork, we provide virtual tours of galleries and lots of promo materials on our website.

We are interested in:

3. Participation in different art auctions.
